Sehr geehrter Kunde,
es kann vorkommen, dass Ihre Secabo TC5-Lite oder TC7-Lite Presse nicht korrekt funktioniert und der Magnet die Presse nicht zuhält.
Nachfolgend finden Sie einige mögliche Ursachen und entsprechende Lösungsvorschläge:
1. Der Countdown läuft nicht
Hier gibt es zwei mögliche Ursachen:
a) Kein Kontakt zwischen Reed-Kontakt und Gegenstück:
Prüfen Sie, ob ein ordnungsgemäßer Kontakt zwischen dem Reed-Kontakt und dem Gegenstück besteht. Wenn der Kontakt unterbrochen ist, wird der Countdown nicht starten und dies wird auch am Display sichtbar sein.
Dies lässt sich sehr einfach mit einem handelsüblichen Schulmagneten testen. Hier ist ein Video, das den Test demonstriert: Testvideo.
Das System funktioniert bei positivem Test:
Wenn der Test positiv ist (der Magnet reagiert auf den Reed-Kontakt), bedeutet dies, dass das System grundsätzlich funktioniert. In diesem Fall müssen Sie nur das Gegenstück neu positionieren, da es sich möglicherweise gelockert hat.
Beachten Sie, dass die zwei Teile nicht zwingend exakt aufeinanderliegen müssen. Es kann vorkommen, dass der Magnet schief eingegossen wurde und daher in einer leicht abweichenden Position funktioniert. Eine 100%ig gerade Position ist nicht unbedingt erforderlich.
b) Release-Button hängt:
Es kann vorkommen, dass der Release-Button in seiner Verankerung hängt und daher nicht betätigt werden kann. In diesem Fall sollten Sie sicherstellen, dass der Button frei beweglich ist und nicht blockiert wird, da dies den korrekten Betrieb der Presse verhindern kann.
2. Der Countdown läuft, aber die Presse hält trotzdem nicht zu
Hier gibt es zwei mögliche Ursachen:
a) Defekter Magnet:
In diesem Fall empfehlen wir, den Magneten zu überprüfen und gegebenenfalls auszutauschen, wenn dieser defekt ist.
b) Fehlerhafte Verkabelung am Release-Button:
Der Mikroschalter unterhalb des Release-Buttons hat drei Anschlüsse. Wenn die Kabel falsch angeschlossen sind, kann es dazu führen, dass der Countdown zwar korrekt herunterzählt und der Magnet in Ordnung ist, die Presse jedoch trotzdem nicht zuhält.
Bitte überprüfen Sie die Verkabelung anhand der folgenden Diagramme und Fotos:
Hinweis: Diese Verkabelung spielt beim Smart Controller jedoch keine Rolle und betrifft nur die Standard-Versionen.

Dear Customer,
It can happen that your Secabo TC5-Lite or TC7-Lite press does not function correctly, and the magnet does not hold the press.
Below you will find some possible causes and corresponding solutions:
1. The countdown does not start
There are two possible causes:
a) No contact between the reed contact and its counterpart:
Check whether proper contact exists between the reed contact and its counterpart. If the contact is interrupted, the countdown will not start, and this will also be visible on the display.
This can be easily tested with a standard school magnet. Here is a video demonstrating the test: Testvideo .
The system works if the test is positive:
If the test is positive (the magnet reacts to the reed contact), it means that the system is basically working. In this case, you just need to reposition the counterpart, as it may have loosened.
Note that the two parts do not necessarily need to be exactly aligned. The magnet may have been cast at an angle and may work in a slightly offset position. A 100% straight alignment is not required.
b) Release button is stuck:
It can happen that the release button is stuck in its housing and cannot be pressed. In this case, ensure that the button is free to move and not blocked, as this can prevent the press from operating correctly.
2. The countdown runs, but the press still does not hold
There are two possible causes here:
a) Defective magnet:
In this case, we recommend checking the magnet and replacing it if it is defective.
b) Incorrect wiring at the release button:
The microswitch beneath the release button has three connections. If the wires are connected incorrectly, the countdown may run down properly, and the magnet may be functional, but the press still won't hold.

Note: This wiring issue does not affect the Smart Controller and only applies to the standard versions.
